Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description Duties Application Management Division (IPO) provides PBS with innovative business solutions, application design and development, systems integrations, software quality, implementations, maintenance, monitoring, and helpdesk support.
As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
Providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues.
Recommending, evaluating, managing and implementing IT technologies to align with the GSA IT's strategic vision.
Developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services.
Applying new developments to previously unsolvable problems; and making decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important IT policies or programs.
Evaluating, implementing and managing emerging and evolving technologies to current and future business needs at the operational and tactical levels of IT development projects including cost analysis and piloting technologies.
Conducting, evaluating and managing system analysis and design projects using various criteria (i.
e.
, time, budget, etc.
) to determine IT success and ensure alignment with stakeholder needs.
Maintain knowledge of programs and standards associated with quality management.
Conducting, evaluating and managing system engineering and development projects including existing and emerging technologies and their applicability in the software implementation environment.
Implementing and managing IT systems, methods and practices to support customers, develop and manage metrics, critical success factors and key indicators to monitor results, and diagnose problems in IT systems and make recommendations for problem resolutions.
Managing and implementing IT Security including assessing risks and identifying and evaluating resources needed to achieve acceptable levels of security and to remedy deficiencies based on system criticality and information sensitivity.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $116,393.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Specialized experience is extensive experience in planning, evaluating, implementing, coordinating and managing Agile IT programs, projects, and operations; Identity Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM) technologies; Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps); Federal Government IT security requirements; cloud technologies; acquisition and contract management.
Experience must include:
Delivering demanding projects ahead of schedule and under budget.
Managing operating systems, databases, middleware and platforms used in enterprise level operational environments.
